In the north of Kalloni Apiranthou, is the church of Agia Kyriaki dating from the 9th century. The Paleochorio consists of one room church with a dome and arched. The walls of the temple are at the bottom similar low built-in desk. The floor was paved with large slabs, which none were found in place since the smashed and scattered by looters digging for “treasures.” Of particular importance is the painting of abstract decoration that survives mainly in the arch and dates back to the times of Iconoclasm , in the 9th century.
