Agios Georgios and Agios Nikolaos Lathrinou in Lathrino are two tangent vaulted temples, with four internal blind arches on each side, probably built in the post-Christian basilica because near the temple are some Christian sections and parapets of the 10th century. It is one of the most interesting churches in the Byzantine frescoes and reliefs. Remains of wall paintings from the second half of the 13th century and the donor’s name which is Tzykalopoulou. Some paintings from the sanctuary have been removed and exhibited in the Byzantine Museum of Athens. It has also saved inscription testifies that in an ancient temple of Dionysus.
