The Catholic Metropolis is located in the Castle Square. In 1563 called Annunciation of the Virgin Mary in 1638 and 1652 called Ypapanti the Virgin, and is now known as Cathedral Catholic. The architecture, which has undergone numerous interventions, dates back to the 13th century and its present form took the 17th century. On one side there is the picture of the Virgin Eleoussa and the other Saint John the Baptist, the image dates back to the 12th century.Church is oblong and roomy. The decoration consists of columns, statues and images.
