Keramoti with Apeiranthos, Korono and Komiaki constitute a group of villages in Naxos which called “Smyridochoria”. At the inventory 2001 it had 76 residents. It is found precisely in the center of island and is connected via the carrefour of Cross Keramoti with three provincial streets with the villages Apeiranthos, Korono, Kynidaro and Abbey. The name of the village is probably because of settlement that resembles as “keramos” . North and southerly of Keramoti are created the two important rivers of Naxos the one from Koronos and the other from Fanari.
Tourist interest points in Keramoti constitute the old bridge of southern river, the watermill, the old “olive mill ” in the square (“platsa”) the village and of course the sources of two rivers.
